And, copyeditors out there like me who love Wikipedia and use it as one of their reference sources (albeit not the most definitive), could consider volunteering to edit entries as a sort of payback for the value we get from Wikipedia. On the other hand, is editing Wikipedia as a hobby the equivalent of doing professional work for free? Yes. But at least Wikipedia's not asking for the help. I think this is a user-generated effort.
